I want to say Minny because of KAT & Wiggins.
But then again, Boston is Boston and Minnesota is Minnesota
What makes Boston such an attractive free agent destination? They've never landed a top player in free agency. All of the top players they've had throughout the years were acquired through trades and the draft. As far as NBA players are concerned, Minnesota and Boston are viewed pretty much the same. They're both cold weather cities with a very small black population.

Boston is on firmer ground because of their coach. They just won 48 games with a bunch of role players.
still dont really know what Wiggins is. Or what he'll become. KAT looks legit but that roster isnt very good outside of them.
Pretty much this. Wiggins didn't really get much better in year 2, I don't think he's got the mindset to be an alpha-as seen at Kansas and now here. He's got the potential to be a great #2.
KAT is simply on track to be the best player in the game in about 4 years.
LaVine looks like a good sixth man and Shabazz is playing decent.
I hope this team keeps Rubio, because other than his lack of shooting touch-which is big, he's perfect for this team because he will no hesitate to distribute the basketball.
but Boston has Danny Ainge in the FO, while 'Sota has just been lucky.

Hey man, maybe we'll luck into a top 2 draft pick and can join in this discussion
Between Boston and Minny this is tough as hell. Boston can take another huge leap with free agency and their draft. Brad Stevens is a fantastic coach. Minny has KAT, Wiggins, Lavine and whoever they draft, Rubio isn't bad either. Tough call, but I lean slightly toward Boston because I think Stevens is that good of a coach.

Wolves. Celtics have a great coach and some nice pieces but it's still a big step up to get to title contender. Towns alone makes the wolves a better bet, still not sold on Wiggins as a superstar at all.

That's like saying what big Free agents have the Spurs signed in their team history before they landed Aldrigde last year. They've always built through draft and trades.
San Antonio as a city isnt attracting FA's. But like Boston, they have a great coach, they are in a big market, and as a franchise has a history of winning.

SA is the one of the smallest markets in the NBA. bottom 5.

i should clarify, i meant by population. It isn't some small podunk NBA city.

I'm going off the board and say the Magic. The young core is improving with Oladipo, Gordon, Payton and Vucevic. They will have a ton of money and will get a FA this summer (D. Howard coming back?). Throw in a top 10 or so pick and they should improve on the 35 wins they had this past year.

Boston, they can and will draw superstar free agents.
No one wants to go to minnesota, and KAT and/wiggins will up and leave minnesota first chance they get

Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett?
They literally took the biggest star in history of the other franchise we are talking about in free agency.

I didn't say it was appealing. But Howard is going to opt out. According to alot of people, he wants to go back to Orlando. They could sign him for less than the max, then trade Vucevic. They would still have money for a near max guy, I think, plus a top 10 pick for depth. Orlando is an attractive spot for FAs and Howard should be more of a team/role player. They could easily make a leap to a 40+ win team. They should be one of the top defensive teams in the league, but horrible offensively. Maybe they go after Beal is a S&T? Lots of options..

I'm having a hard time understanding your post, but Allen and Garnett were both acquired via trade.

Garnett and Allen were traded to the Celtics. Neither player signed with the Celtics as a free agent. The Celtics were also one of the worst teams in the NBA at the time so it's unlikely either player would have signed with them if they had been on the open market.

He had declined to be traded to Boston originally that summer, but signed on once they got Ray Allen. He agreed to an extension with Boston immediately after the trade. So it was pretty much like a FA move to form a super team with Pierce and Ray Allen.

San Antonio is a much more diverse, warm weather city than Boston. They are also located in a state with no income tax. And the reason why the Spurs haven't been able to attract free agents in the past is due to the fact they rarely had enough cap room to sign top players.

same can be said about Boston the last decade.

Wolves. They are set up to be the 5th best team in the West behind the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, and Clips.
Would move up to 4 if Durant leaves.
This is an argument for the Cs.
