Celtics in prime spot to make a splash in free agency, have the best young coach in the league, plenty of pieces to surround a star, and a top 5 draft pick this summer.

Wolves have the best crop of blooming players in the league. Another high draft pick coming in June. Add a veteran or two this offseason for locker room leadership and court experience, and they'll be on their way to becoming a title contender.

Who ya got?

I want to say Minny because of KAT & Wiggins
But then again, Boston is Boston and Minnesota is Minnesota

If the T-Wolves make a great hire this offseason, you got to like that team. It reminds me of the Thunder before they got things going.

Really good question. I'd say Boston because of Brad Stevens. But if Minny makes a big hire like a Thibs I'd go with them

Got to be Minny for now. They have two bona fide stars in the making. Don't think Thibs is a good fit though.

Anthony Davis? Lol just kidding. Don't mean to get the Pelican fans riled up

Wolves. They are set up to be the 5th best team in the West behind the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, and Clips.

Would move up to 4 if Durant leaves.

Boston is on firmer ground because of their coach. They just won 48 games with a bunch of role players.

still dont really know what Wiggins is. Or what he'll become. KAT looks legit but that roster isnt very good outside of them.

Duran stays in the west.
SA and GSW will both be making FA plays for him.
That would make Thunder not top tier though.

Kinda wonder if he will pull a Lebron and go to an East team to stay the hell away from the top tier West teams. I think the Wizards and the Celtics have as good a shot as anybody to sign durant.

Boston. How is this even a question? Minnesota won't be able to compete with the top teams in the west.

If Boston adds a star on their roster, watch out. They got almost 50 wins this year with a bunch of role players. Isaiah Thomas had a great year this year, but no way would I consider that dude a star. Just a decent player.

Exactly...will they be able to hang on to these guys? Or even bring in good FA's to help out?

Well they're young and hungry now. Generally play harder than anyone. Adding a couple max players could easily change that with the egos that come along with them. Minnesota has a lot more talent. I'll go with them and t ain't close.

Wolves. Celtics have a great coach and some nice pieces but it's still a big step up to get to title contender. Towns alone makes the wolves a better bet, still not sold on Wiggins as a superstar at all.

Wolves just because they already have their future superstar. I'm really not sold on Wiggins though and there's still the possibility they screw things up Pelicans-style.
