We don't even know what teams are capable of winning the SEC yet. And I think there are about 4 teams who would have a chance to win the PAC champ.

I'd also say 2-3 teams would have a shot at the SEC champ from the PAC. Would they actually win it...probably not. But even Missouri had a shot last year (and still this year).

Stanford is bad. Oregon isn't very good. UCLA is not anywhere close to earning the preseason hype. Arizona State has never been a legit team. UTAH? Lol okay.

You are legit in your analysis. Here is mine:

1) LSU sucks
2) Bama Is overrated
3) Ole Miss is soft
4) A&M well do I need say more
5) Auburn see #4
6) Miss State will fall
7) Bert is fat

Great fricking analysis, amirite?

LSU would have had no shot this season.

If you look at us exclusively over the last month, maybe.

We'd probably finish with 2-3 losses

No shot in hell LSU loses more than 1 game in the PAC the way the D has been playing. No shot.

If you can't score in the Pac-10, you can get easily outscored on a bad day.

LSU would lose 2-3 in the Pac.

Lsu was run off the field in their two losses. The defense has not been 85 bears like.

The thing that most people fail to realize and really try to point the finger at Oregon losing back to back games 3 years ago to SEC teams is that the SEC teams had ALOT of time to scheme and rest their players in preparation for Oregon. Playing week to week in the PAC12, with a week to prepare, I'd imagine that the Bama's, MSU, LSU's of the world would be about where they are now record wise. If you put Oregon in the SEC right now, they'd maybe have 2 losses. This year I'd say Bama and MSU could win the PAC12. LSU would get blown out with their lack of offense and Les's questionable coaching decisions.

Oregon's offense is built way better to face a strong defense and our defense is really good at stopping ground and pound teams. Our front seven outweighs 2011 by significant margin. We can play in a box but spread us and we are butter.

Haters always say that LSU would get blown out, but rarely has it happened outside of a small handful of conference tilts.

I don't think LSU is consistent enough to win the PAC12, but blown out? No

LSU's ball control offense doesn't allow for blow outs.

Having watched almost every LSU and Stanford game this year, I would say that LSU is a slightly better version of Stanford. Strong defenses but weak offenses.

Alabama favored to win it over Oregon
Mississippi State even with Oregon

Maybe Auburn but they would be in big trouble on D - around even with Oregon

Dark horses
The way LSU is playing of late they could but their early season for probably would have done them in
Ole Miss would have a shot
Georgia would be a dark horse with Gurley. He would run wild on pac Ds but Oregon O would prison rape UGA D.

You didn't read what I posted correctly.

LSU now would be tough to beat.

But if you take LSU's whole season, I think we lose more than 1 easily

eh. Vice versa I think. Stanford would be favored over LSU on a neutral field.

Except for powerhouses like Arkansas who is favored over LSU this weekend. But they sure would be a tough out for a second-rate team like Oregon.

This and A&M alone prove that just because you play in the mighty SEC doesn't mean you are a top 10 team. Yes they usually have one of the two best teams in the country but the whole conference (even the west) isn't a semi-pro league like people in this area tend to think.

A&M and Mizzou came in to the SEC and everyone thought they because came from a different conference they would be doormats in the SEC (especially Mizzou)....and wtf happened. Mizzou nearly went to a nation championship and A&M nearly beat everyone they played.

It's ridiculous and ignorant to think that more than 1-3 SEC teams would compete for the PAC championship and no one from the PAC could compete in the SEC.

I think what this thread shows more than anything is that PAC 12 and SEC need more bowl tie ins.

Defense practically has no margin for error in games against oregon, and other high powered offenses.

Do I think LSU could shut them down enough? Yeah, but the offense still would have to score 24+ to win. That would be an offensive explosion for LSU.
