Which of these veteran managers would you prefer for the Rangers?

Rumors are all these guys are on the Texas Rangers radar. They want a veteran coach that can be a turn-key. The last 4 managers they've hired have been first time managers. Lets leave out Washington in this debate because I do think he will apply but I think they go in another direction.

All of these are at the end of their career and want one last coaching job. Who out of these would you want?

Joe Maddon
Mike Scioscia
Bruce Bochy
Mike Shildt

They should hire Dusty Baker. Now. Don't wait until the off-season.

Dusty Baker would be an excellent fit for the Rangers.

None of the above. I want to go outside the box and get someone young and energetic. Someone like Kristopher Negron intrigues me but you would need to have a veteran bench coach as his right hand man.

Bruce Bochy - over just about every manager in history. There's zero chance that Bochy takes the job though. If he manages again, it'll be with the Angels next season.

I don’t understand the Astros fans wanting Dusty to the rangers. He has
You fans with the best record in the AL and he has made a WS. I should like to see an Astros fans pick for a new manager that is better than Dusty is right now.
