Shildt might hire on but the 3 former World Champion managers there wouldn't piss on that job.

Astros fans on a Venn Diagram overlap with Saints/LSU fans. Constant chip on the shoulder, nothing/no one is ever good enough for them, and they always think they are THE destination for...everyone...and if you don't agree you are a hater who hates them for being so awesome. Dusty Baker is currently slaughtering the AL West...but will never be who they wanted. I think Astro's fans would complain about a reanimated corpse of Connie Mack. "He's so old and teaches small ball!!"

If he consistently trotted out some of the ridiculous lineups that Dusty has, I would. We already have a corpse, anyway.
