Jordan, Johnson, Bird, Russell, Abdul Jabbar, Chamberlain, Shaq, Moses Malone, Duncan, Olajuwon, among others, others are all better/could be argued as better than Bryant..Kobe is no shoe in for top 10 but certainly has a strong case

Not even in the top 10...doubt if he even cracks the top 25.
i agree with this, he would have to win a couple of titles before i put him in the top 20

i do not agree with this. kobe is easily top 10, possibly top 5 imo.

He will easily finish top 20 unless he blows out a knee.

As far as resume, he's not in the top 10 yet.

However, he's the 2nd best player I've ever seen throwing resumes out the window.

1) Michael
2) LeBron
3) Magic

Didnt Michael Jordan say this year that Kobe is "probably a top 10" guard? What an insecure prick.

If we are talking about best players in their prime, I would go MJ, Magic, Shaq.

I don't like Kobe one bit, but to say he isn't Top 10 is asinine. Lebron? Not in the same stratosphere. I'd have him barely cracking the Top 50 "right" now.

Look, every white person loves them some Larry, but he wasn't a Top 10 player. He's just outside though.

It is a joke and not meant to be racial. I just don't think Larry is Top 10. I think he was an amazingly smart basketball player.

Not top 10

Below Kobe

However, I do think Lebron will get there. I probably have Kobe around 7 right now. I want to see Lebron play five more years before I try to even roughly rank him.

To the other stuff in the thread, Kobe is definitely top 10, Bird is top 10, and I hope GamecockAlum gets unbanned for this thread.

Why? So you can just refute them, and we can go back and forth about our opinions? I'll humor you:

1. Michael Jordan
2. Wilt Chamberlain
3. Bill Russell
4. Oscar Robertson
5. Magic Johnson
6. Shaq
7. Kobe
8. Karl Malone
9. Moses Malone
10. Hakeem Olajuwan
11. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
12. Larry Bird

IMO, Bird is in the second 10 with Dr. J, Elgin Baylor, Clyde Drexler, etc.
