No, he's not in my top 3.

Kareem at 11? You cant even be taken seriously, get out of here

He has more All-Stars, More Points, More Rebounds, More Assists, More Titles, More MVPs than Bird. What else do you want? There are 13 players that have had more All-Star appearances than Bird. There are 16 players that have more points than Bird. There are 12 players that have more titles than Bird.

I think his placement in the top 10 is debatable. There are some other players with similarly impressive stats and career achievements who could be argued as better. But I would put him in my top 10 because he's white and so am I.

I think he was insinuating Kareem should be higher than 11

11 is too low for Kareem, who at one point was considered by many as the best player of all time.

I had him lower only because I don't really like the guy.

The actual rankings are just in order of who I could think of mostly. I didn't really put much thought into it. I was just trying to spit out 10 guys better than Bird.

Is it crazy that I am thinking of Kareem at 2?

I was talking about the lunacy of you put Kareem at 11 in general. If your criteria for putting Kareem ahead of Bird (which I'm ok with) is all this information, than Kareem should be about 3 on your list

Definitely not crazy. If you think he's better than Wilt, then why not put him there.

Again, my rankings are just in order of who I could think of to top Bird. Kareem didn't come to mind right away (perhaps because I don't like him). I knew this would turn into a bashing fest.

Port, please feel free top put yourself out there and give up your Top 10 (with Bird in it).

I like to believe that when looking at raw talent, Lebron probably is pretty damn close to top 5 of all time. Now taking the top 5 list and expanding to actual career stats/titles/etc he definitely starts to get out of the top 5.

As far as the actual top 10, its hard to compare players who played 50 years ago to people who are playing now. Hell, its hard to compare players who played 20 years ago to today. For this reason I think its pretty dumb to argue an actual top 10. We can all probably agree that MJ is 1 but after that who really knows who was better than who. All you can compare really is stats and career wins/titles.

My top 10 would def include Kobe and Shaq tho.
