Top 10 White players ever: Go

I'll give it a go, but that list gets pretty thin around #8

Bird, Havlicek, West, Pettit, Stockton, Barry, Pistol (just for fun), Mikan (the uncle of a friend of mine), Cousy, Debuscherre, Voogd

ETA: Forgot about Dirk, but he's gotta be a top 5 (maybe Top 3 when it is all said and done) white guy

6,000 career points and 4,000 career rebounds does not impress me at all.

John Stockton has as many rebounds as Walton did. He had no business (except unless you include his college career) being in that Top 50 list from a while back. If you sort by the stats, he is a joke:

If the NBA still existed I would not put him ahead of any legends.

Labron James is not in the top 25. He may end up there and should. But this is not even close now. Jordan, magic, Oscar, wilt, Russell, west, Pettit, jabbar, bird, Elgin Baylor, julius erving, bob cousey, havlichek, isaih thomas, shack, koby, barkley, and I can name more. Give me a break! Lebron has done zero, and is overhyped!

his entire career was marred by injuries. He is definitely a top 10 "white" NBA player all-time. Dude was a beast when he was healthy. He didn't have a great statistical career (again, because of injury), but he was monster back in the day. I think it's Charles Barkley who constantly says Bill Walton was the greatest players he "ever" played against throughout his career. That's high praise coming from that era....

I can see the idea that he was dominant when healthy, it just happened so rarely. He's another guy that is a douche though

I think you're confusing him with McHale.

Bird is really underrated in this thread. Bird's peak was incredible. His downfall was lack of longevity. If we're talking peak, Bird is no doubt top 5. If we're talking career, he's top 10, but no way he falls out of the top 10. And don't insult his athletic ability by calling him a smart player. It's a backhanded compliment and under-appreciates what a spectacular athlete and pure basketball player he was.

To answer the OP, LeBron is somewhere between 15-25 at this point.

Top 10:

Jordan
Magic
Wilt
Russell
Bird
Hakeem
Kareem
Kobe
Shaq
Oscar Robertson
