Side question: If Marino had been on, say the Cowboys or Bills in the 90’s, would he have won several Super Bowls?

If Marino was in place of Troy that team would have been almost unstoppable.

Funny how Knees Brees and Horsehead and Corky Manning get so much love…and never a mention of Roethlisberger and several others.

The popularity of stat whores.

Many of the greats of all time agree with you.

Peyton Manning, Favre, and others have said similar things.

Brady got old and the Patriots moved on. The Buc's had a great team especially the defense the year Brady won, he was smart and saw a team, and coach with a good foundation and cap space. Good for Him.

This thread was about Marino and his passing ability. There have been many QB's who won SBs on teams that were system or products of great defenses.
Do you rate Hurts a better passer and player than Burrow or Allen if the Eagles win?

So Craig krenzel is a better QB than Matt Stafford? Got it.

If I had to win one game and I had to have the very best arm talent to win it he'd be my pick.

1984 Marino and 2004 Manning are the two best QB seasons ever.

That system has been struggling a bit since he left.

It's amazing that Brady haters still try and claim that.

Sadly, he never had a running game or defense worth a shite.

This about sums it up.

Unimaginable to never get a good RB with your QB locked up for a decade.

Dallas won three Super Bowl with Aikman, and he was at his best in the playoffs. I doubt they do any better with Marino.

What other Super Bowls would they have won? 1991 Washington was an all-time great. 1994 SF was loaded. By 1996, Dallas was on the decline with Switzer, free agency defections, injuries, retirements, and Jones’ horrible drafting.

Im not a Brady hater but when the officials are in your back pocket, you're already ahead of the pack. His teams won in spite of him at times. That's a fact that can't be denied.

The best pure passer ever. He’d be a cheat code with today’s rules/offenses. Put up 38 against the best defense ever.

He had a good defense his first year or two and towards the end of his career, but that was after his 2nd Achilles injury. The Dolphins put alltheir money into him and their left tackle and guard.

Lmao. You're going by what? Wins, SB's, certain stats? He's the best passer ever. Peyton Mannings one year came close but a new Era. If we're talking strictly on position he's number 1. If he was surrounded by a team he'd be no. 1 by far. Nobody would be close.

It would be like Barry Sanders behind the Cowboys OLine. Jerry Rice on the Niners. Not even close. Records that would never be broken. He's the best QB ever to play the game.
