Where does Aaron Hernandez rank on the all-time athlete frick up list?

I know he's not a huge name like Tom Brady, and he wasn't even the best TE on his own team, but what a colossal frick up by a guy with unreal talent & potential. How many Tight Ends are lining up in the backfield and taking handoffs? The dude could've been beyond great....
So I'm trying to think of other athletes who fricked up everything, all at once. OJ doesn't count, cause he was retired. Len Bias definitely comes to mind, but he hadn't proved anything on the professional level yet. He was the #1 pick, but he was still only a college kid who averaged 16 & 5 throughout his amateur career.
So has anyone as good as Chico, and in his prime, ever fricked up this badly before? I'm sure others have, but I'm just drawing a blank.....so name some please

If Tyrann Mathieu were to be a bust in the NFL then him. (he won't)

He is with Rae Carruth, Ray Lewis, OJ, Pacman and Titus Young as sure-fire First-Team All THUG POS

Well, unlike Hernandez, Rae Carruth was actually convicted of murder, so until further notice I'd say he takes the cake.

Actually conspiracy to commit first degree murder for Carruth. If Hernandez is convicted, he'll definitely have him beat.

He could never play a down in the NFL and that'll still be better than being in jail for 1st degree murder.

Hernandez takes the cake bruh. Sounds as if he totally blew the dude away.
Rae didnt even pull the trigger. Gutless fricker couldn't even do it himself and had to put a hit out for his baby mama

Bonds/McGwire/Sosa. Potential HoF inductions derailed. I don't equate that with murder, but as far as frickups...

as bad as it is to admit, (being an LSU student and fan) Hernandez was always one of my favorite players since his first year at Florida. it really sucks to see all of this happen.
he's #1 on the frick up list IMO. a few more years in the NFL and he would have been a household name.

I didn't mean to imply that was worse than Hernandez, it's definitely not. I don't think any athlete's frick ups match Hernandez

Cecil Collins is at the top

OJ is #1 without question. I can't think of many other pro athletes that straight up murdered someone, so Hernandez is up there (assuming he will be found guilty).

OJ yes, but he wasn't in his prime. Hernandez was. He also murdered a dude over presumed BS (disrespect at a club). OJ supposedly did it cuz a guy was fricking his wife, which many men would react in the same way.
It seems like Hernandez cared more about keeping it real than continuing his career as a multimillionaire and raising his baby.

As big as Vick was at the time, I'd say he should be near the top.

Michael Vick duh. Not as bad a crime as Hernandez but he was way better and more famous and shite. Woulda love to see what woulda happened with him
