Rockets: Current Age starting from the James Harden trade

Astros: Current age, starting with the 1st playoff appearance since the '05 World Series

Texans: 2009-2012. I still contend the Texans would have won the Super Bowl in 2011 if Matt Schaub didn't get hurt.

Arkansas football: 2005-2011: Darren McFadden Era followed up by Bobby Petrino era. Has 't gotten better than that.

Arkansas basketball: 2013-2018.it's been that rough for Arkansas hoops that's really been the peak since I've been alive

Arkansas Baseball: 2004- present DVH is the man.

That ten year span from the ages of 15-25 where I lived and died on every moment involving my teams. Like most, as I have gotten older, sports are still quite enjoyable but just dont mean as much.

I freaking cried like a toddler when Tracy Porter picked off Manning in that Superbowl. That game meant so dam much for the moral of the city at the time. With all the unrest going on in our country today, I've never seen so many people of every creed united in jubilation on the streets of New Orleans after the Saints won the Super Bowl. There will never be a bigger sports high for me than that day.

1986 - 87

LSU went to the Final Four in 1986.

The Angels were one strike away from their first World Series before Dave Henderson broke my heart.

In 1987 LSU and Ohio State played to a 13 - 13 tie in the loudest game that I have ever attended at Tiger Stadium - and it was a day game.

The Lakers won the NBA Championship in 87.

My never to be surpassed climax was the 2002 Angels. I fricking cried when that shite happened.

Honorable mention to Tyrus Thomas dunking on Duke to seal a NCAA tourney win. My miniature schnauzer named little Jimmy went and hid in the corner when that happened.

2006-2008

3rd generation Gator and was lucky enough to be in school for:

2006 - Basketball National Championship
2006 - Football National Championship
2007 - Basketball National Championship
2008 - Football National Championship

Can't imagine any experience of mine as a fan ever touching those years.

2014-Present

Royals - Went to WS in '14 and won it in 15
Dawgs - Won SECC, and Rose Bowl in '17
Chiefs - Won Super Bowl in '20 and have Mahomes locked up for the next 12 years

Realistically the Chiefs and Dawgs will be competing for titles for the foreseeable future, so I don't know when this age will end.

83'-89' 4 SEC titles in 6 years. Bo, Lionel James, Fullwood, and some of the best defenses in school history. Also 1st Iron Bowl in JHS too.

RIP, Coach Dye and thank you

You must not remember 2011 very well. Texans were on a roll before Schaub got hurt. AFC championship game at minimum.
