Doesn’t Miami have the Texans pick? Would they take Trevor over Tua?

Yeah I just looked it up to confirm. Houston traded next years first for Tunsil so Miami has the pick. That would be interesting.

I guess I forgot to include Houston in teams who could pass on Burrow. But like anyone else, they would just trade the pick.

It would never happen (mainly bc of positioning), but I could see a case for even KC taking Lawrence.

They could have the luxury to pick him for insurance purposes alone.

If they have no. 1 I think they would.

A franchise QB can turn around any franchise. It’s the only position that a team should consider upgrading if a player is available despite what resources have been spent.

I also do not agree with OP that Dallas would pass. If we somehow end up with no. 1 we would non-exclusive tag Dak and trade him for the two no. 1 picks (that is obviously dependent on him continuing a strong year passing).

I don’t think he’s that good so I would pass no matter what, downvote all you want. Sunshine is Tebow 2.0

Lawrence is a media creation. Puts up decent numbers against crappy ACC defenses. But he was 54% against Ohio State and 48% against LSU. And the NFL will break him in half if he tries to run the ball much.

He probably goes in the top 5 to some clueless Owner/GM, but there are half a dozen better QB's in the '21 draft.

How do you explain 54% against Ohio State and 48% against LSU. And 60% or less against Ga Tech, Syracuse, and NC last year.

Atlanta wouldn’t. They’d take some overrated corner.

Given the Raiders recent history they’d take some 2nd/3rd round linebacker.

Overrated speedy receivers was Al Davis foray. Gruden’s foray is taking defensive guys 40-50 picks too soon.
