Except I didn't think they'd dominate this season.

Now, I think next year you'll start to see them dominate.

kobe can't win a title without shaq

said there was no way duke would even make the final four last year, much less win the title

was also wrong about bradford

sure there are a bunch more, these are just the few that immediately come to mind

Really? I remember when he came in and traded Rip Hamilton and I ranted that he was mortgaging the future o the team could go 41-41.

"Why Orlando why would you take Dwight Howard over a 4 year college All-American in Emeka Okafor! Are you serious Orlando? You will regret this!"

"The Pistons traded Jerry Stackhouse for Richard Hamilton? Are you serious?!!! What are they doing!!!??"

"Saints got Troy Davis and Danny Wuerrfel!? They are going to be awesome!"

I also remember getting in an argument with my friend about Aaron Brooks and Tom Brady. It was when both QBs started to play good (that didn't last long for Brooks). Brooks got a big extension and my friend, a Pats fan, was saying he didn't think Brooks deserved. I was convinced Brooks deserved the extension and that he was better than Brady.

I was 100 percent convinced NE would beat the Jets in the playoffs and I was 100 percent convinced Steelers would win Super Bowl against the Packers.

I think picking one game is kind of crazy, but I remember being positive the Rams were going to stomp the Patriots in that Super Bowl.

Speaking of Boston, after the Sox had that miracle comeback against the Yankees, I thought that was their World Series and they would lose to the Cardinals. They won in 4 games.

I thought the Yankees were silly for choosing Soriano over Jiminez. Oops.

I was positive... POSITIVE... the Flames would beat the Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals. Dammit.

I didn't think they'd be great. Something like 46-36 with a couple of playoff series wins. Remember, the East was garbage back then. The Nets reached the Finals and the Pierce/Walker Celtics made it to the ECF. The Pistons, with Jerry Stackhouse, old Cliff Robinson and Corliss Williamson as its leading scorers, won 50 games (they did have Ben Wallace, though).

I thought for sure that WV would get demolished by Sam Bradford and OU a few years ago.

I convinced myself that Jamarcus Russell would be a stud QB.

I'd also like to add I thought the Derrick Rose/CDR Memphis team would beat Kansas in the national title game the year Chalmers hit the shot.

Buzzer beater =/= horribly wrong. Anyway i'll go with the Heat over the Mavs in 06 (or was it 05?).

Looking back, I can't believe I thought this. But I thought Matt Lienart would be a great fantasy QB when he was named the starter in Arizona (was that two years ago, I forget).

I got that one right.

Heat to wni 68-70 games lol.

I also predicted the Seahawks would be one of the 3 worst teams in the NFL last year on here. Granted they went 7-9, but they won a damn playoff game.
