University of San Francisco

Bill Russell
Bill Cartwright
Ollie Johnson
K.C. Jones
Quentin Dailey

Or you could substitute guys like James Hardy, Winford Boynes and Phil Smith.

Not gonna pretend like I know a lot about Augmon other than the quick google search I just did. But what about plugging Shawn Marion at SF instead? I know he only played 1 season at UNLV, but he was solid - 18.7/9.3

also, this Jo Jo White was apparently a beast back in the day, so he should be in at a guard spot.

yeah you could say that. there are a lot of ways to build the kansas team, i really dont know what i would do.

PG - Jo Jo or Jacque Vaughn
SG - I would start McLemore honestly to give this team a crazy dimension. Other options are Hinrich, Chalmers, or even B. Rush if you wanna defend some bitches
SF - The Truth
PF - Danny Manning
C - Wilt

Bench:
the guys mentioned above that dont start
Brandon Rush
Raef Lafrentz
Clyde Lovellete
Nick Collison

Obviously you can't put Wiggins in there after 2 games. But in your opinion, do you see him making that Kansas starting 5?

And a little off topic - but out of the big 3 with the crazy hype in college right now, do you honestly see him as the best of the 3?

Augmon was good. He was the 2nd or 3rd option but he was physical and a great defender.

man i have no idea. these conversations always confuse me on if we are valuing college value or nba value. is raef lafrentz/nick collison a fricking stud or just average? but wiggins has certainly had a good start. he'd have to have a special season to beat out those guys, though, espcially if he's battling rush, pierce, or manning for a spot. my guess is that 5 years from now, most will have him on their all time kansas roster.

as for the big 3, they are just all fricking awesome. i see it as (and this is a pretty widely accepted opinion so im not original or anything) parker being the best actual basketball player/skill set, randle being the beast down low that is the most unstoppable when on, and wiggins being the best in transition, best defender, best athlete with the most room to grow by far.

What could Purdue look like with Big Dog in the lineup?

My dad played football at Purdue, so I grew up watching them a little. I'll give this one a shot:

Purdue
PG: E’Twaun Moore (had a hard time picking a pg)
SG: Rick Mount
PF: Terry Dischinger
SF: Glenn Robinson
C: Joe Barry Carroll

Nobody would beat UCLA or North Carolina

Because they would have Kareem and Walton - and Jordan and Worthy

He was indeed. I would just have a hard time seeing him or anyone else from the 1930's matchup with more recent players. He was obviously great for his time, but he only averaged 8.2 points per game (which was pretty good back then). So it's just hard to plug him in that lineup with the ridiculous changes in the game.
