Kyle Allen is supposedly on track to graduate this year.
Tom Herman and Kyle Allen?

Will this be a package deal? I believe wherever Herman decides to go, Kyle Allen will follow.
re: LSU's Les Miles conflicted over quarterbacks

If Les would go back and compare Jennings stats with Harris stats in 2014 the conflict would be over.
Les needs to get on the computer and type Anthony Jennings stats. Right there should be a red flag... He threw for 1611 (mostly big plays in each game 92, 80, 42, 41x2, 40...) yards and 48.9% Completion (don't forget the 22 sacks). Did he have a rushing game? At least Jefferson could run. Also, one last stat 11 Touchdowns and 7 Ints.
So, now go back and look at Brandon Harris's stats and compare to Jennings. Let’s not forget he's a True Freshman. He threw for 452 and 55.6% completion rate (played in only 5 games and most were after halftime). Clearly the argument is that he was competing vs. worse competition. Not many players can say they stepped on the field as a true freshman in the SEC. This shows me that he has the talent to compete and he needs to show Les that he's the right guy for the job sooner rather than later (learn the playbook, study film, improve technique, and improve check downs...). Also, this guy can run and I think it's time to let him loose.
This year can be very special with all the talent we have on the offensive side of the ball. Whatever Qb starts Jennings or Harris; let them loose. We can't keep running the ball first and second down to compete in the SEC (teams stack the box). It's time to let it fly and see how special these receivers really are. This will open up holes for Buga to take home the Heisman. Can't wait for the football season to start.

Misdirection, Counters, and Sets
Posted by lsuking8 on 9/25/14 at 1:03 pm
Why not try something new?
The power I toss clearly does not work. The defenders are keying in on the fullback, and all this does is clog up the lane for the running backs. We need to start putting the fullback in motion more (misdirection and/or counters). I personally believe we don't need a fullback, but that's my opinion (we can use the tight end as an extra blocker because clearly he isn't used in the passing game). We can play 3 wide receivers out of this package utilizing the sidelines more and spreading the linebackers out of the middle (more big runs and plays).
Thoughts?

1) Its SEC football
2) LSU is playing
3) We have the best defense in America
4) The two headed monsters (Ware and Ford) will be runnning all over the field
5) Lee will be throwing multiple td's
6) Rueben Randle will actually be smilling instead of grimacing
7) You don't have to listen to those awful cowbells if your not at the game
8) Its thursday night
9) We are still undefeated
10) Did I mention we have Les Miles
