Rockets

Brooks>>>>>Chalmers
Ariza<Wade
Battier<Lebron
Scola<Bosh
Yao>>>>>>>>>Anthony

Martin>>>>Miller
Hayes Patterson=Haslem Varnado

Ariza and Battier are the perfect wings to neutralize Wade and Lebron

You wanna talk careers? No question Kobe is on a different planet. You wanna talk as a game-day baller in 2011? They are a push at best.

So Kobe goes from best player on the planet in June, then 5 months later DWade is better?

Who says he was the best player on the planet in June? I just remember him playing for the best team. And I also don't think the best player in the planet would throw up a 6-24 in the biggest game of their career.

The Thunder can't beat the heat yet, Heat have more experience in the playoffs, and I think a team will need a dominant C to compete against the heat.

Lakers would beat the Heat in 6
Mavs would give em a hell of a series, I'd say Heat in 6, just because of all the athleticism
I'd say Heat over Celtics in 5. KP would be a load, but not enough.

Even with him quitting in that series, he still shot a better % and averaged more rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, etc. with a far shittier supporting cast than Kobe against Boston. Sounds like the better player to me.

I can't believe a Hornets fan hasn't chimed in with:

CP3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Chalmers
MT5 >> Wade
QPon = Lebron
West < Bosh
Okafor < ?

Wade = Kobe is correct. Kobe still has a more diverse offensive game, but D Wade gives Kobe fits. Kobe has more trouble guarding Wade in the halfcourt than any player in the league. They are a wash and would both have inevitable monster games against each other.

Gasol >>> Bosh - Gasol lines vs Toronto over 2008-2010
22ppg, 10rpg, 3-1 W/L

This seems like an unfair point IMO.

Bosh 16.0ppg, 8.5rpg, and 3.5apg in those four game whil playing for a team who wasn't even .500 in the Eastern Conference. I would think you would have to assume he would play better plating with a better group of teammates.

In 2009-2010 season he also averaged 20ppg, 10rpg, and 3apg in two games.

Why does Gasol get such an edge on past matchups when he had by far the better team?

Gasol is just a better player. He has a more polished offensive game, he's a better shooter, he has better post moves, and he's a better passer. He's also a better defender. He alters and blocks more shots while grabbing more rebounds. Plus he has the deep playoff experience edge

I just don't believe Gasol is really a huge advantage over Bosh. I don't think the opinion he is better is a big deal, but not some huge advantage.
