I'd rather Delgado start against the Phillies than Lowe right now

1 homer and 2 singles off lefties. Hopefully that means Heyward is getting it back together.
Maybe he finally realized Larry Parrish sucks at his job

And Viz sets up the save for Kimbrel!! :nana:

Gonzo will likely sign a one year deal imo. Pastornicky will be on the big club next year, but no way is he the everyday SS imo.
I wouldn't mind this at all if he keeps up the defense, I can live with him being our 7 or 8 hitter again next year. It's not like Pastornicky would be any large improvement

That was clutch! That bean ball was pretty sweet too since it didn't cost us!
he knew what he was doing the whole time!

Moylan should be back early Sept IMO
Just in time to get in a groove before the postseason. We really will need him healthy

hopefully Braves can take this 5-0 or more lead into the 7th. Fredi really needs to dial back the innings for O'Ventbrel. i know they look invincible out there but they are racking up a lot of appearances for how young they are.
it would really suck to have one of them hit the DL just as the postseason gets here.
I agree with all of this. That means we get to see more Vizcaino tonight!

I'm excited for Jason right now. Constanza getting injured is a blow to the club, but hopefully he just has to rest for a few days. heyward has to realize this is his opportunity to make an impact and reclaim more starting time
there isn't anything wrong with his velocity is there? Sorry I can't catch the game

Fredi is a baseball guy that believes what he sees, and he is seeing W's, so he won't change too much until we hit a rough stretch. It's just hard for baseball people to accept the numbers, and the truth that we are bad offensively, even with Danny Uggla on a good steak
You can't deny that we win when Schaf is in the lineup, even though our offensive numbers are terrible. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Even though J hey has really been worrying me lately. hopefully it's just a sophomore slump, a slight knock to his confidence that will return eventually.

Maybe I'm spoiled from only knowing Bobby as a manager my whole life
Me too possibly. I just don't feel like Fredi is maximizing the potential of this team. Maybe he's trying to find an identity offensively, but we aren't gonna be amazing offensively until Prado comes back in my mind. And his hands are basically tied, but this team has come a long way in a few short weeks, mainly because of Freeman, McCann, and some strange man that is starting to resemble the Dan Uggla we thought we were getting
