What lengths will the NBA go to to prevent OKC vs Cleveland in The Finals?

I guarantee you they are worried….the Thunder and the Cavs are clearly the best teams in each conference, although Boston will be a very tough out in a 7 game series. NO team in the West will even take OKC to 7 games…as a fan I would love this matchup, but it would be a disaster for the league. Bring it on.

That league is so bad.............I hope for this.

And wish total failure on the Celtics and Lakers.

Would be great to see the Cavs especially. They play a really entertaining brand of basketball.

Well, they already managed to get Luka on the Lakers, which I think they hope will stymie OKC.

There is always teams that play great during the regular season, but do not have what it takes come playoff time.

OKC is one of those teams for sure....

Cavs have little to not much playoff experience...

Both will gain that this year, but I'd say OKC is the team that would be more suspect to lose in the first round or 2 with a matchup like the Warriors...

The same lengths they did to prevent Den vs Mia instead of Bos vs LA 2 years ago

I predict okc/Boston honestly

Although donovan Mitchell may have got over his mental hurdle in that 4th quarter comeback vs celtics a few weeks ago.

That series is 50/50 to me while I don't see anyone in the west keeping up wit okc

None.

In 2023 the NBA could have rigged the Lebron and the Lakers and Celtics to play in the finals. Instead it ended up being the Denver Nuggets vs the Miami Heat.

This is a thread every season in whatever sport if LA or NY isn’t involved. Doesn’t matter the sport.

Steph Curry will fix this issue without any help from the NBA

The Cavs have at least two players (Mitchell and Mobley) better than anyone on that Hawks team. Probably more than that.

That said, they have size issues against Boston that'll probably get exploited over a 7 game series.

Tatum sprained his ankle in game 7 against MIA or Boston likely would've been in the Finals.

They would have to cap the number of threes the Celtics can shoot to keep them out
Not happening

Where would you put them? OKC has been a great move. Only pro sports in town. Getting a new $1b+ stadium.
