I happened to be near the local minor league baseball park a few years ago, when I saw they had a 10:30 game. I was free for they day, so I stopped by. I was the only fan in the entire stadium until about 10 minutes before first pitch.
Then, the flood gates opened, and elementary school kids poured in from every entrance. The early start time was a school promotion. They bused them in from all over town. The place was packed, and I had kids all over me, spilling drinks, being silly, and doing kid things.
I was at the lowest announced attendance in Hornets-Pelicans history in 2007 against Philadelphia, 8,302.

I was a Braves fan in the mid 80’s. Sat in Atlanta Fulton County Stadium many times with under 4000 fans.

Honest answer, some of the lsu basketball games early this season.
Goofy answer - any of Trent Johnson or Johnny Jones' last seasons.

kentucky baseball.
less than 15 in stands.
murray state baseball.
similar.
mid week games during the day. class in session.
I knew guys on the teams.
I suspect that only family and friends were on hand.

Do you remember that Baylor game in 2012 or 13 when the stadium was full? That was a wild sight to see. But yes attendance the last 20 or so years is a joke.

Would have to be the Shuckers.

Kansas City Royals game early in the season one year when there were only a couple hundred people there. It was too damn cold for baseball. Started to snow late in the game and the crowd thinned out even more but I wasn't going to leave because George Brett still had an at bat to come.

8302 was the announced, but of course the actual was way below that. That was the 56-26 year and attendance didn’t pick up until the end of January

Been to plenty of college baseball games with a couple hundred people. For football, been to some Memphis State games back in the early 90s with embarrassingly small crowds.

Browns-Saints 1999.
I don't know the attendance number but there were thousands of empty seats in the Dome. The Saints led all the way until the end and then Tim Couch threw a hail mary that got batted into the air and the fricking Browns WR caught it. It wasn't funny then but it is now. Even my step dad who took me to the game didn't rib me and he doesn't even like the Saints.
been to minor leagues games (baseball Baybears Mystics hockey) who both had pathetic crowds in Mobile.

I was at that Saints-Rams game in the Superdome in 1996 when the announced attendance was 26,000. There’s no way there was 26,000 people there. MUCH less. People forget how bad the Saints and their support was in the 90’s- the Superdome was half-filled often.
I was at the same game. Both the Rams and Saints sucked arse. The Rams were 3-9 and the Saints were 2-10. It was the lowest attended Saints game ever at the Dome. As stated the announced crowd was a little over 26,000. It was more like 7,000-9,000. We sat like 15 rows up on the 40. The unique thing is that it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Pat Summerall and John Madden has called the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving, so they just sent them over from Dallas to call this crap game. I'm not 100% percent certain, but I'm 99% sure that was the worst combined records of the teams in a game announced by those two.

I was at a Tulane game with a buddy of mine who is an LSU fan... the only other people in our section were a couple about 10-12 rows back and the dude bitched at us for standing (they were not in the section when we arrived.... i told him to move or shut the frick up... then asked him later if he wanted me to tell the band to not play so loud....
Seriously... frick that guy.
