What is the smallest crowd at a college or pro game that you have been to?

When I lived in Beaumont, Texas I went to some Lamar basketball games. I went to a game when Pat Knight was their coach that probably only had 20 fans there. I remember the sound of the humming from the lights being louder than the action on the court.

I went with an Ex to watch her brother who played football for La tech one year when it was about 30 degrees outside. There were 42 people in the stands when I counted.

Few hundred for an independent pro hockey league game. It was really fun. Minor league games are the best.

5,240 fans.....ACC Championship #2 Notre Dame vs. #3 Clemson. Very bizarre atmosphere. The teams couldn’t travel with bands or cheerleaders so they just pumped in typical hype music you hear at games. Occasionally playing each teams fight song.

I’m sure there have been less at minor league baseball and hockey games I’ve attended.

Baseball. Southeastern at Jackson State at like 2:30 on a Wednesday. 7 people in the stands, 8 people in the balcony of the project style apartment complex across the street.

Georgia basketball shouldn’t count but I went to one in the snow during final exam time when I was in school and there may have been 100 people there. I got to shoot that halftime half court shot

Women's basketball at South Carolina before Dawn Staley.

Maybe 100 people total in an 18,000 seat arena.

LSU vs Wyoming basketball the night of the Oklahoma Florida state national title game. Maybe 5,000 people and both teams wore gold.

For a team that was actually relevant:

App State at LSU the year of Gustav? Do I have the right hurricane?

The Shreveport Captains AA baseball game used to pack them in in the 80s and early 90s. Then some outsiders bought the team, renamed them the Swamp Dragons, and turned the whole thing to shite before moving it to Texas.

We had a group of 20 or so go during the dark era. There were not another 25 people in the place. When we went to the concession stand, they ran out of several items. One worker said they were not prepared for a crowd that big.

LSU baseball in the pre-Skip Bertman era. Games would have a handful of people there.

Does a cross country event count? Literally, the only people there were people involved in the race.
