I don't think passes that hit a receiver in the hands, but results in an interception, (tips, deflections, etc), should count against the QB

I agree with this but what would you call it? An offensive give away.

Most stats are overrated and don't tell the entire story!

You could do it like an error in baseball. Doesn't count against the QB like it doesn't count against a pitcher.

When it comes to football most stats are pretty meaningless.

The most overrated stat in football is passing yardage

Like someone else said, make it a team stat. Drop for the receiver, INT for the defensive player who caught it, and a team INT for the offense. I think pass yards should be a team stat also. Give the yardage to the team and the receiver, and just give the QB a completion.

Tackles. If a guy is racking up 20 tackles a game it's because the offense is picking on him and the defense can't get off the field.
