2 loss teams are not getting in, ever.

If Auburn beat Georgia in the 2017 SECCG they were in. Hell, they were ranked 2nd I believe heading into that game as a team with 2 losses.

Why is a 2 loss team winning a national championship a bad thing? I mean they most likely will be seeded 5-12 so they would have won 4 straight games, presumably would have beaten 1 and 2 seeds, and oh yeah earned the championship

Champions do not mean best team. When anyone on this board can tell me what the definition of the best team is then I may listen to best team bull that you guys argue about.

LSU at 11-2 (7-2)

LSU would be 11-2 (8-1) if they win out

The Pac12 hasn't had a team in the playoff since Washington in 2016-17. USC and PAC 12 will be pushing the committee hard on the media about not being left out. If they win out, I think the committee will cave to that pressure and see to it a PAC12 team gets in. This doesn't help Clemson or the loser of the OSU/Mich game. I think the committee, despite not a very deep schedule, really likes Ohio State. I think if they lose a close one, they still have a shot. But only if USC loses. I don't see them taking two Big 10 teams when the Pac12 and ACC champ both only have 1 loss. As for two SEC seeds... If LSU wins, I think they are in. The question then would be Georgia. Do you even consider the fact they are the defending national champs if that doesn't have any effect on the season?

Georgia
OSU/Mich
TCU
USC

Or

OSU/Mich
TCU
USC
LSU/Georgia

That's some tough decisions.

Now let's say that by some miracle The winner of OSU and Michigan loses the conference championship to Iowa or Purdue... Which I don't think would happen but let's go with it. And LSU wins outs, USC and Clemson wins out, but TCU loses.

This will be fun. TCU, we all can agree, is out with 1 loss. So now you have no undefeated teams, but a bunch of 1 loss teams to pair with a 2 loss LSU. Who goes in, and how does the committee somehow decide the 4th seed is Alabama?

USC
UGA
Clemson
LSU

In some order.
