I traded Winston and Eli for Carr last week and picked up Fitzpatrick on the waiver wire...I feel like a genius right now

Am I the only one who thinks Winston would have a fantastic year if he were to become the starter again?

They have Pittsburgh and Chicago in the next two weeks. If he leads the Bucs to win both or even go 1-1 in those two, I would think you have to keep him as the starter. It is amazing the numbers he has put up so far after two games. He currently leads the NFL in passing yards, 2nd in passing TDs, and has beat two playoff caliber teams (one on the road and the other at home). Don't know if he can keep that type of production up but if you are the Bucs, you have to stay with the hot hand when you are the best team in the NFC South currently.

They'll give him a big contract. Then he'll start sucking. Then he'll get cut. Then he'll sign as a backup somewhere. Then the starter will get hurt or suspended....

No way you can bench Fitz, but it would be interesting how Winston would perform behind this oline. A big plus is Todd Monken taking over playcalling from Dirk.

What do you mean what do they do? It's Fitz's job. Everyone knows it.

Koetter's on the hot seat. He's not going to mess up a good thing.

He will definitely ride the bench if Fitzpatrick keeps winning.

I disagree that he's average at best. When he has his head in the game he's an excellent QB. The organization over the last several years has been a dumpster fire until now. Even as impressive as they have looked so far, I'm not completely sold on them. Plenty of time to fall apart

Lack of a run game and secondary injuries will be an issue

Winston will be much more full while eating up those DNP's rather than those W's.

They just need to keep Winston around as a hype man to poke opposing players as they walk by and give pre game speeches.

So on this hand you have a Harvard grad

and on the other hand a guy that grabs taxi drivers by the genitals, stands on cafeteria tables yelling obscene things, sticks crab legs down his drawers, and enjoys dead fish sex

Gosh, that's a toughie
