That's actually a really interesting pick. Defensive minded coach, maybe they'll start attracting the best defensive talent in state and status quo offense and they'll have a better shot than Lincoln and Tommy.

I will take off the board guess and say Arizona St

They’re recruiting well
They can get into playoff pretty easily if 1 loss in Pac 12
They’re high-ish profile so media will pump their rankings up which will pump the committee ranking
Depends on the draw of the fake tournament

UGA
ND

Was gonna day UF but they’ll need to get by Alabama, LSU, or auburn.

FSU with the right coach but then Clemson is in the way

Texas or Oklahoma could but I just don’t see them being able to

PSU or Michigan still need to get by osu

UCLA, usc, Oregon, or Utah they got to get in the playoffs first

Penn st has been right there on the edge
Beat Ohio st
Franklin doesn’t get enough credit for the job he’s done
I still think usc with the right coach could dominate pac 12 like Clemson is doing in acc
It’s still probably Meyers next gig

Once Saban hangs it up the sec will show a lot more parity

I feel like I've been hearing this for quite some time, but it's done nothing for the program.

Another interesting pick. With Herm Edwards as the HC, they'll draw enough national interest to keep their name in it.

Some of these have been within 20 years obviously.

That have been in mix.

UGA
Oklahoma
Oregon

In that order.

Outside of the recent playoff era teams.

UF
TBD PAC team that can get its shite together.
FSU/maybe UNC if they get rolling recruiting wise.

I say UGA as well. Personally with all their resources, I don’t know how they don’t have multiple national titles like LSU, Clemson and Florida. Boggles my mind

Utah or a Big12 team.

Utah just had a filthy recruiting class, they're a QB away

Oregon had so many chances between 2010-13 (2014 OSU was much better). Crazy they didn't get at least one, I'll go with UGA though

OU, UGA, or Oregon. OU has to figure out how to play defense, UGA has to figure out how to throw a football, and Oregon has to figure out how to win against good teams. I’d bet on UGA. Kirby just needs the right offensive mind and UGA is a super attractive place

USC needs a serious investment in facilities and boosters to win recruits. The sanctions hurt their wallet badly

FSU needs to get serious in upgrades as well if they ever want to compete again

My vote is Oregon or PSU. Far easier path compared to UGA getting to the championship game.
