What can the NBA do to make the game better

Here are a few ideas.
Start calling travels.
Start calling double dribbles.
Start calling carrying the ball.
Automatic technical when a player throws a fit after a non call.
Any complaining to refs from a player equals automatic technical.
Games are reviewed and refs are graded on missed calls and bad calls. Info is made public and refs will lose their job if they perform poorly.
Reduce the number of timeouts each team is given.
The NBA stays out of politics.
The NBS stops subsidizing the WNBA.

Disagree with this. Players should be allowed to disagree with a call and show a little emotion. As it stands today, a player can show frustration with only HIMSELF for making a bad play and the referee will call a tech on them and potentially have them thrown out.

100% agree with this. Officials in the NBA are out of control, which is why I'm against giving them more power on the subjective technical foul calls.

I've thought this would be a huge game changer for several years now. Durant in particular has gotten away with carrying for his entire career.
Also, review tape for every game and start retroactively fining guys for flopping. It needs to be an amount that would make them pay attention, like $250K per flop.

I've thought this would be a huge game changer for several years now.
I’d add that something has to be done about fouls being called because an offensive player aggressively initiates contact. Call it an offensive foul or play on.

Somehow stop the flop.

Get rid of this, flopping, and carrying the ball and James Harden might've been a 6th man his whole career.

Easily all of these.
Would also add change up foul calls so that if the offensive player initiates contact it is not a foul. Players like Harden, SGA, Ja, etc who drive into the lane solely looking for contact makes it miserable to watch.
I do appreciate the NBA last two minute rules compared to college. Makes the end of the game speed up some.

They still do. They have some examples of egregious non-calls but honestly it happens at every level just those games don't have nearly as much scrutiny, and I really don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be.

One idea:
Allow coaches unlimited challenges until they get one wrong, then allowed only 1 more that game.
If you win a challenge it should never count as used since it was ref error.
Also, for every coaches challenge won the ref who called it wrong is fined $500 (assuming their pay scale is way smaller than players).
Get to a set limit and have to attend a remedial ref school to get back in NBA. League needs to spend money for a ref school and peeps to run it.
