I once saw a crazy stat or maybe it was a NFL Films Presents where during the ‘88 season the 49er’s had something like 315 or so 1st and 10 opportunities. Joe Montana called a different play for each of those 1st and 10 plays without repeating himself.
No clue if that’s actually true as it’s not easy to track those kinds of stats to verify. The thing that makes me think it’s a possibility is the numerous interviews with coaches and teammates discussing his insane ability to learn and digest plays instantaneously.

For three straight years. Without a 3 point line. Let that sink in for a minute.

I've decided you aren't real. No one is this obnoxious.
I choose to believe that you are actually a Yankee-hater and are doing this to make their fans look like idiots.
With that said, you're doing a fantastic job.
You're a scourge upon this board and I truly hope Judge has multiple slumps that only Chris Davis could understand.

Nolan Ryan threw 346 complete games. In those games, he had more no hitters (7) than no walk games (4).

Greg Maddux had five 3-0 counts for the entire 1997 season

That’s not so outrageous. Nolan Ryan was notorious for walks (holds the MLB record) so only having 4 games of 346 with no walks is in line with his style.

Have to disagree on that one. Having more no-hitters than no walk games is a bit outrageous to me.

The one that gets posted almost every time this comes up but:
Larry Fitzgerald has more career tackles than dropped passes

In 1950, Yogi Berra had 656 plate appearances, 597 at bats, 192 hits, 30 doubles, six triples, 28 home runs, 124 RBIs, 116 runs scored, 55 walks, .322 batting average, .383 on base percentage, .533 slugging average, 135 OPS+ .... and struck out 12 TIMES the entire season.
He struck out one time in the month of April (on opening day), one time in May, twice in June, twice in July (in the same game), three times in August and three times in September.
Compared to the way the game is played today, that's pretty frickin' amazing.

And Yogi was renowned as a "bad ball" hitter.

The 56-game hitting streak ending on July 17th. On July 18th, Joe went on to hit safely in the following 17 games. So, Joe D hit hit safely in 72 of 73 games.
