Thank God the Heat didn't take on that $38.5 million salary. No thanks. I'll take the 16.2 PPG at a higher FG% and better defense that UDFA Kendrick Nunn is giving us for $1.4 million.

They should trade Harden and keep WestGoat. Harden has shown he can’t win shite in Houston. Give WestGoat a chance.

No he isn’t. maybe when he was with the pels bc they were a losing org and he had nothing to play for. He has been healthy and great in Houston.

I wonder why every player HardLn plays with wants out after a couple of months.
They don’t. The issue is every “star” Harden has played with in Houston has been very flawed.

Dwight is Dwight. No explanation necessary.

Chris Paul was awesome, but was just too old at this point and isn’t nearly as good as he used to be. He never wanted out.

Westbrook is a very flawed player. Also, he never wanted out either.

And if you count Carmelo Anthony, he is very flawed too and also never wanted out.

Dwight is the only one who wasn’t happy.

Dwight did want to come back. Harden is beloved by his teammates and around the league. He is probably the most desired teammate in the league.

Who turned down others to come play with Hardwyn?

Paul and Westbrick were traded for.

Over the hill Carmelo?
Then I guess perennially hurt Gordon?

Yeah.... most desirable teammate that no one ever seems to choose for some reason.

Chris had a player option. He could have opted out and signed with literally any team. He opted in so that Houston could dump salary so they could take him on. You can’t just make stuff up around here with being called out on it.

Eric, PJ, Austin, etc all took less than what they could have to play with James.

Weatbrook gave okc his list of who he wanted to play with. Harden was #1.

How many picks would Houston have to trade Russ with to get Chris Paul back?
CP3 was an infinitely better fit, I called that one immediately.

You keep harping on this but what player that is worth a damn would want to come watch iso's all game long while Harden is setting scoring records but setting his team up for another playoff letdown?

That's stuff he's heard from Morey himself along with other GM's (not necessarily about being in the news). He's always looking to make the team better so he asks all the time if people are available.

Him and Simmons have said multiple times that they like Morey but he's kind of despised by a lot of people in the league.

Well the ones who want to play with the best passer / playmaker in the league. Who doesn’t like taking wide open shots? Or the ones who wanna play with the highest IQ guy in the league. Which is a lot. Or the ones who would rather ply with a guy like harden over a glory hog like lebron. Which is a lot. I think you can see where this is going.

One of my favorite guys in the league. He’s a great guy. It is Not his fault the pels had an incompetent medical staff.

It's not every day you can watch a guy, in person, give Kobe a run for the post merger record for missed FGs in a season. I'd imagine that alone makes Harden a popular teammate.

He is beloved. Guys wanna win. And since harden has been in Houston I’m not sure if any one player has won more games.
