How do you not make the playoffs in basketball in Wisconsin? Did you even have a team?

Division I had some pretty talented teams in Wisconsin. One of our crosstown rivals featured Keaton Nankivil (Wisconsin), Jeronne Maymon (Tennessee), and Vander Blue (Marquette), for example. Then you have Milwaukee teams such as Vincent, which had Diante Garrett (Iowa State) and Bryquis Perine (UW-Green Bay).

This isn't Division 4 or 5. The Fox Valley, Milwaukee, and Madison areas all have some very good teams. My team just wasn't. We were much better in baseball and football.

Runner up in soccer...we lost 1-0...guy I was guarding scored.

Glad I dont let stuff like that haunt me. I feel bad but nobody on our team could score either. Graduation was that night so I got fricked up and forgot about it and then realized it wasn't that big of a deal

So you went to La Follette or West? I'm ruling out East because they have a decent basketball program, I think.

Or it can even be little league for that matter.

shite yeah man My team in park ball was awesome. The Municipal Raiders!!!!! We won the league a few times.

high school team.. not so much.

10th and 11th grade we only won a handful of games. Then we got a new coach before 12th grade year. Made the playoffs and got to the quarterfinals.

never did beat Blount or Vigor though.

good thing too... our buses got pelted with rocks even when we lost to Blount as we were trying to leave.

Football quarterfinals, football quarterfinals, football quarterfinals

sucked to play Catholic League in New Orleans every year the day after Thanksgiving with NOLA officials, especially when playing Otis Washington and St. Aug with not a white official to be seen for miles

State runner up freshmen and Sophomore year
Lost in the semis my Jr year
Second round fluke arse loss in the 2nd round my senior year when we had the best defense in the state.

I only started my Jr and Senior year (DE/NT/DT) at about 6'1 210, but I was All parish/All district first team, so I wasn't some slouch.

High school swimming state champs for our class in Connecticut. We only had 4 of us score points outside of the relays, but we all finished 3rd or better. 11 man team with a kid who learned how to swim.

Pretty proud moment in my life. Also won gold and silver in relays at YMCA nationals. The medals from nationals and state are the only ones I kept. Still in my special box.

Coached my former high school to a State Championship in volleyball.

It was so much fun and rewarding because I'd been coaching them since they were in 8th grade.
