Coached my former high school to a State Championship in volleyball.
It was so much fun and rewarding because I'd been coaching them since they were in 8th grade.

High school football state championship.
I was the student statistician - never saw the field - but had fun - I knew the play book and audibles better than the coaches.

Went 9-1 sophomore year and hosted my school's first home playoff game in 25 years. Lost that game 27-26.
Lost state quarters (basketball) as a sophomore to David Lighty (four year starter at Ohio St) and Villa Angela-St Joseph's. They lost the state title game to OJ Mayo and North College Hill. North College Hill was insanely good and would have absolutely kicked the shite out of us if we had gotten there. Had never gotten that far before and haven't since.

My senior year of HS we made the state championship. We were a very small school and had some pretty kid athletes and then an outstanding one who went on to be a prominent player at Ohio State. We kicked arse all year. Closest game spread was a 25-0 win. We were 14-0 with 10 shutouts going into the state championship and ran up against a private school with 7-10 D-1 prospects. Played them close, were tied 0-0 at half. They scored a TD in their opening drive of the second half and then busted it open late with two INT return TD's. Really sucked to lose that game but what a fun experience and ride it was

I won a state championship in basketball my freshman year, played 3.8 seconds in the championship game. Great times.
