Basketball is an incredibly funky sport. If you have a consistent tournament team, you better stick with that coach. Take Tom Izzo for example: great at getting you Final 4s, horrible at winning it all once he gets there, and prone to early exits if he doesn’t make a Final 4. There is a ton of statistically meaningless luck in the tournament.
