Old man, you clearly never played ball. A players knees or ankles are just as important as any appendage on their body.
Dort looking at Jokic, lining it up and sticking his leg out to trip Jokic is as purposeful seeking of an injury as an elbow to the throat. The fact you can’t admit it is exactly why everyone in the nation hates OKC fans.

As a former player, I’d rather take a head injury than a leg injury. At least you can play with a broken jaw, you can’t play with a serious ankle or knee injury

They are not coping well. Their only recourse is to try and deflect to Dort instead of discussing Wemby playing dirty.
Wemby himself said he was an ethical player. You just cannot make those claims and then elbow someone in throat.
But instead of admitting Welby made a dirty play their only reflex is deflect/blame Dort and OKC. They are not ever going to be objective.
Its comical and fun to watch them melting over this knowing Wemby just tarnished his long term image.

I did. I pitched with concussion, could still use my arm and legs. I played a basketball game with a an eye so swollen from taking an elbow in practice I could only shoot with one eye. Was dogshit but I could still play.
I’m not diminishing a head injury. But arms legs are upmost importance as well.

Here’s a side by side. Metta didn’t look, Wemby wound up and looked. Metta glanced first then hit neck. Wemby hit throat straight on and he got very lucky it could have been life threatening where he hit him.
There is no good way to spin this. No Thunder player has done anything like this. Its bad and Wemby fans can’t accept their star player is dirty. Only deflection.
