i mean. the league probably watched the play and saw Naz Reid hit Wemby in the face, then that other guy completely grab his arm and hold him and then saw Wemby spin away from the guy holding his arm. They also, unlike your dumb arse, realized that Wemby isn't a piece of shite like so many other bad guys and are letting it go.
He deserved to be ejected. He doesn't deserve to be crucified.
His problem now is that he will be getting baited non-stop until he can show maturity to handle it.

Wemby ( and to a lesser extent Castle) have been dealing with hacking their entire career thus far. 99% of the time they've handled it great, but a lapse in judgement will happen. Castle had his moment vs Deni in the Portland series and now Wemby has his. Still gotta be mature but you also have to stand up for yourself too.
Hopefully Wemby has learned his. Spurs may be new to the game but they aren't going to roll over like Minnesota wants.

His blow to the throat was worse than any other suspended player got this whole season. Not one other flagrant this year was worse.
All this shows is NBA put ratings over everything else. If this was a reg season game he is suspended.
And thats fine but NBA just set a playoff precedent. Teams losing a series can hit someone blatantly and dangerously - and only get ejected from that game.
This was 100% driven by money and not by the act itself.
Regardless, Wemby has that vicious hit on film and will be scrutinized like other players. He can’t undo what the world saw. Its a stain on his resume.
It would have been better for him had he been suspended at least a game as at least then it is assumed he paid a price for his actions. Now it only looks like NBA covering up for money reasons. And fans of all other 29 teams will look at this and claim favoritism by NBA.
I look forward to the OKC/SA series.

If the NBA wants a return to the 90s Pistons days
Bill Laimbeer would break Wemby in half

Maybe Naz will stay out of his cylinder now.

You have a link to this? I'm guessing you are referring to something prior to the video linked in the OP? Any contact from Naz seems incidental and well after Wenby had cocked and unloaded that elbow.

that other guy completely grab his arm
Yeah, that doesn't justify an elbow and every player deals with that.

He deserved to be ejected
obviously

obviously. But, he did deserve to be suspended. His star stature is what saved him.

agree...although I'm very concerned as an NBA fan that given the leniency on Wemby here, he will probably get more calls moving forward.

Alright no suspension for that is pretty ridiculous.

Wemby swiped 2-3x then he just swings around to get guys off of him.
How McDaniels reacted was not because of any Wemby swing, it was in real time and he was coming hold him up next....
In real time it just felt like an "opportunity" by the script writers...

I watched two previous similar instances
Metta World Peace - 7 game suspension
Hassan Whiteside - 1 game suspension
