Remember when we all got mad at the idea of Chris Paul going to the Lakers? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Boogie will and should get a ton of shite for this.
For trying to rehabilitate his standing for free agency next season with the defending NBA champions?
It shouldn't be surprising to anyone.
From CBS Sports on May 18th:
quote:
For Cousins' looming summer decision, he just wants to go (or stay) where he thinks his team will be relevant. For New Orleans, bringing him back is a risky proposition given his recent injury. But the talent he possesses may leave the Pelicans with no choice but to run it back and invest in their dynamic big man.
"Somewhere I'd be appreciated and a contender," said Cousins of an ideal free agency destination. "A team that's ready to contend."
If the Lakers wanted him, they should have cleared the cap space, taken the chance on him coming back from the Achilles tear and paid the extra 3 million for him. It's not like they didn't have the money; they signed Rondo for $9 million.

I'm not even mad.
Warriors have zero shame. They're constructing a team the same way I would try to on NBA 2K.

Why should they have shame?

Yeah I guess a team that’s won it all 4 of the past 5 years is “ready to contend”

This team would be lucky to lose more than than 7 games. Ugh.

Can we just fast forward and NBA season? What’s the point. What a joke.

That’s just false. The Pels started to figure it out before he got hurt, but it was a struggle at times And his athleticism is going to be tested with that injury.
Well good news for the Warriors. They only spent $5.3 million on his arse so if he becomes the 10th best player on the team ... no worries.
ETA: he doesn’t even have to start. Imagine how bad arse he would be coming off the bench in spurts where he didn’t have to wear down.

Well you apparently have some teams lead by big bearded players that think they don't need any more help to win championships, even though they've never done anything.
Warriors players DGAF. They'll welcome anyone and don't listen to the noise about stacking the deck.

How do you compete with a Durant-Curry-Klay-Draymond-Cousins lineup?

I don't care about you guys, but I fricking love this
GSW is going for titles, and they are giving themselves every opportunity to do so with this move
this neutralizes any move that the Lakers make from here on out.

God the Warriors are going to destroy everyone. But they also might set the record for most technical fouls

Dude Boogie fits in anywhere with his size and athleticism, the Warriors just completed the absolute best starting 5 the league has ever seen.
until the 33% 3pt shooter starts taking shots away from the 40% 3point shooters
There is a chance he hurts the chemisty of that team.
of course if he plays as an inside/out big, he'll thrive. But he's going to want his buckets

A part of me loves it too.
If there are seriously teams out there that have too much inner ego to try to seriously challenge the Warriors, if they can't put ego aside to create your own superteams, then the Warriors should just continue to widen their advantage and take every title that they can.
