They lost to two very good teams in games where one or two plays go a different direction and they get the W. They absolutely are one of the top 25 in the country.

I think it’s a reasonable criteria that you should have a (one) win by week 4 to be ranked

LSU doesn’t deserve #3. Probably more like 8-10. Too many issues on offense.

Texas is 8 and Arch's issues makes Nuss look like Burrow

if Miami is 4 and A&M is 11, they do.

No you see it makes perfect sense. They lost close to two top-10 teams so they should still be ranked.

Why are those teams ranked so high? It's simple, they beat top-25 Notre Dame.

Texas is ranked way too high with how terrible Arch has been.

Yes, struggling against an average Clemson and Florida team and laid an egg against La Tech.

The last a 0-2 team was ranked was Michigan. They won the rest of their games and finished #4

Better to win ugly than lose pretty.

But yes I agree the team is overrated and due to get blown out due to their lack offense.

Take away Langley awful throws for int’s and LSU most likely losses last night.

"Take away what actually happened in the game and the team who won would lose"

Too bad that didn't happen.

While we do that turn all of LSU's 2 yd running plays into 60 yd TDs so LSU wins even bigger.

A product of preseason rankings.

They will never get rid of them but teams should be appropriately evaluated as the season goes on. Thats asking a lot though when we have idiots ranking a team higher after a loss and many other examples of stupidity.

Too damn high.

Time will tell but the offense clearly has issues. Hopefully they can get it together.

Highest ranked SEC team

Question, have the B Kelly Tigers been the highest ranked SEC team before at any point in the season?

Based on AP Poll history, a team has been ranked in the Top 25 with an 0-2 record 6 times: Purdue (1948), Missouri (1949), SMU (1958), Auburn (1984), Michigan (1988), and Notre Dame (2025).
