Latour is like the baseball field in Fields of Dream. In the movie Costner built the ball field in his corn patch; If you build it they will come.

So some coonass decided to build a golf course in a cane field and guess what, they came!

I still haven't been there but I'm getting closer to going.

If you named a course that you could probably make some money off of merch by accident, just make the "l'"tiny

That coonass was John Brady, former owner of Mobiltel I believe. He died either last year or the year before. He basically built it because he was from down da baya and wanted a nice course close to home. I think we'd all do that if we could

More has to do with the times. Oregon wins, they are going to have one more west-coast host with only two true late night starts.

Rice wins, you've got two host out west, 5 in the eastern timezone, and LSU/OU in the central.

Wouldn't that be an issue with conforming grooves, or is that just with wedges

No doubt. I always said if I had all the land Judge Dufresne (RIP) has by 310 that you see from the bridge I'd have built a top notch course. It would have had some holes through the woods and swamp and the rest and clubhouse in the cane fields. His plantation already had a name that would sound good for a golf course, Esperanza.

I'm not sure about the groove issue. He said he's gonna play it next week though.
