I've heard good things about David. My wife had the idea of getting some lessons for me for fathers day after she saw me play in Toledo Bend. I was thinking of going to him. How helpful was he?

He is awesome... just a genuinely nice guy and also tries to improve your natural swing, rather than changing everything and starting from ground zero. I'm not going to Cliff b/c I'm dissatisfied, I just wanted to try something different. I would recommend David to anyone.
ETA: his rates are excellent too. 60/hr without video, 70/hr with. He also runs a 4-lesson special for $200 with the 4th lesson being a playing lesson (on the course). I did the package the first time I went to him and it was a blast.

Just got home from my first round at Carter. Shot a 85 and left a couple of birdies out there. Love the layout.

Redfield, they cut the greens and tucked the pins. Much faster than yesterday. Shot 42 on front today.

Where was your work tourney?
Just finished at Pelican Point Lakes. Tied my best round ever shooting one under.. 38-32, par 71.
Also decided to randomly play with my old irons I replaced two years ago. hit them well.

Well I won't be playing for a while...
I was regripping a club and let's just say the grip was "messed up". Well, the box cutter hook blade slipped.
Lets also just say there is a piece of my finger missing.

I finally have motivation to get better.
I want to buy ALL old school Top Flite gear. Bag, clubs, balls, hat, shirt. Also gonna try to get the big Tom Kite glasses. Then Im just gonna show up to a tournament and WTF the shite out of everyone and win the tourney.
