a guy I work with has a brother who was shot in the face in Afghanistan a few weeks ago, and Weave's brush burn has gotten more press

BTW the guy's brother is for the most part ok, just might lose hearing in one ear last I heard

If tiger can win a major on one leg, weave can shoot +3 with a paper cut. Similar feats of strength IMO

yeah, from what I understand it was about the best case of shot in the face you could hope for. has all his teeth and bone structure, like I said the loss of hearing in one ear and I'm sure at least a little disfigurement were the worst parts. he was eating and drinking beer like 10 days after it happened. oddly enough, that make 2 coworkers of mine who have had people shot there. the first one had a son who got hit in the helmet and knocked out, also no long term physical damage as far as i know

Showed up at Santa Maria and hit the range around noon.

Hit 3 drives with my driver before the shaft snapped off at the hosel and sent the club head 150 yards into the range.

I have to play again on Sunday so I stopped at Dicks to buy a temp driver while I get it reshafted.

SM gave me a POS loaner for the day for the tourney.

Greens were like putting on a pegboard and we finished -5..

Any of y'all do the Bridgestone ball fitting before? I did it yesterday at Abita. Little did I know that my swing speed is actually high enough that I'm supposed to be playing a tour ball and I was losing distance due to over compressing. Made a 15 yard difference playing the B330 in my round after I got fitted.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

We talking total for the round, or on average per drive?

On average. I was averaging 260 and my ball was ballooning pretty good. Yesterday, I was getting much more roll than usual. At least half of my drives were up to 275.

I play Abita a lot and was shocked to find myself closer to the greens off the tee than where I usually am.

I'm really not sure what y'all were expecting.

Yes I did but was playing when I got it and forgot. I'll reply in a little bit.
