11-2, 9-5, 11-3, 12-2 over the last four seasons, 29-3 in regular season conference play, 2-2 in conference title games, a playoff berth, a #9 final ranking in '22, and a Cotton Bowl win over #10 USC and their Heisman winning QB Caleb Williams in one of the GOAT Cotton Bowl games ever played.

Only thing that possibly tops it is their run from 1931-1934 when they went 11-1, 6-2-1, 6-3-1, 10-1 under coaches Bernie Bierman and Ted Cox, went 25-4-2 in conference play, won 2 conference titles (Southern/SEC), had a loss in the Rose, a win in the Sugar, and finished #2 and #11 final rankings in '31 and '34.

Yes. I don’t know how they’ve been doing it. But kids who weren’t getting enough playing time at power five schools are transferring there. And they’ve been recruiting pretty well.

Great for them!!

To win the conference and make the playoff after losing the DC to Oregon and the stud QB/RB duo to the portal is highly impressive.

Baker looks like a strong hire to keep it going.

With the most help from the refs and most dropped balls from the other team than I’ve ever seen in my life. Lucky is an understatement. Tulane loses by 50 next game

This is the time I'd like to remind everybody that Rice is 3 and O versus bama all time

20-17 versus Tulane

I bleed purple and gold, but I'm happy for Tulane.

For God's sake, between the Saints and Pelicans absolutely sucking and LSU probably headed to Shreveport for the "What Might've Been" Bowl, it's good to see a team from this state doing well.
