they've played this season pretty much perfectly thus far.

Exactly, with all the hype surrounding the 72 wins etc....they could have easily had that same chance as the Warriors, but chose to rest players...stay healthy, and not play meaningful guys, meaningless minutes against teams like Philly, Minnie, or Orlando etc....

Instead GS was going to OT against Philly, losing to Minnie at home, fighting against teams like Orlando until late in the 4th quarter...

I mean I get breaking the record of 72 wins...but still, When the Spurs/Cavs win this year that's all that will matter to those players on that team is that they didn't get the trophy...

Curry is likely out 4 weeks I believe,
Based on what? Grade 1 sprains are roughly a 2 week thing.

Yeah I think I heard Curry had the lowest MPG for someone averaging 30 points.

Yeah I'm not even knocking GS for gunning for the record. They played that well, too, with managing their minutes.

I'm just glad SA didn't get caught up in the hoopla of chasing them and stuck to our own way.

How do we even know the Spurs or Thunder will be fully healthy by the west finals? With all the dinosaurs on the Spurs one of them is due to fall victim to playoff intensity and physicality. Not to mention the Spurs playing on 1 days rest in the west finals is iffy

As long as kawhi and lma are there, they have a shot. The dinosaurs are almost extinct, but they've passed that torch.

Hell, I'm glad GS & SA ran away with the 1-2. Donovan doesn't get any credit but he never pushed the envelope on minutes played regarding KD nor Russ.

KD's were 3 MPG less than his 5+ healthy years and Russ posted a low number as well.

Yeah SA hasn't been a Big3 dominant team for a few years now.

It's been posted a couple of times. One of the Roto sites posted something about(and my numbers could be slightly off here) 11 grade 1 MCL sprains this season missed an average of 7.2 games and 15.1 days.

What?

He's never been a "floor general" in his life. This kills any shot the Clippers had of beating the Curryless Warriors unless Thompson or Green go down as well and Griffin is healthy.
