If Cam had done something like this during a Carolina victory some of you would still be posting in the pinned 350 page thread at the top of the board.

If you watch the video it doesnt look like Miller comes close to touching it.
If you watch the video, he definitely touches it and throws it backwards.

Yep, I can see it there. I was having trouble finding a video that showed that part zoomed in. Every damn video on that play now focuses on Cams lack of dive

There's no way that they would call that, it looks like he's attempting to scoop the ball away from a defender and toward himself, but doesn't have control of it. He definitely didn't "bat" it, like what occurred in the Seahawks game earlier in the season (or whenever that happened).

Looks like he throws it backwards, but there's so much going on that you can't really tell. So I agree, no way they call the penalty right there.

I don't know why Von Miller felt he needed to bat the ball; it's not like Cam was trying to recover it anyway.

That's when the Panthers lost, that specific play.

It was 16-10 with 4 minutes left and that fumble gave he Broncos the ball on the 4 setting up the final TD. The penalty would have given the Panthers the ball and a 1st down.

So yeah that specific play is actually when the Panthers lost the game.

First of all, they only call that penalty when it's blatant because it's hard to determine intent. Peter Warrick in BCS NC vs. UTK is a good of example of when it's an easier call.

In addition, I guess if you're going to take his word when it's convenient to you, shouldn't you also accept this statement:
