So I get it, the bots, trolls, and 18 yr olds downvote and attack. Anyone with common sense sees that as dangerous.

I asked you what you would base a fine on. That isn't an attack, but you then resort to an ad hominem attack.

Do you think it's right to just decide to fine someone without them breaking a rule or the law?

That's a question, not an attack.

I’d be shocked if they didn’t at least plant a hedge before next season. Or some sort of half wall. I’m all for letting the kids storm the field after a big game.

BUT you gotta make them work for it a little bit.

Yea I just responded to your post bc thats the one I clicked on, but the response was general. Of the negative responses, yours was most legit.

I mean…it is UVA. I can’t imagine they were thinking this would happen.

They need to start taking home games away for this.

I put this in the game thread but looking at their stadium it's more of a design flaw than the security biffing it.

They just don't have anything there to stop people from running onto the field.

When SMU still had a berm they cut it short and put a 6 foot wall there that you'd have to climb on to jump off to get to the field. I saw another suggestion in this thread that they might could add hedges there.

No matter what they do I think this season will for sure be Scott Stadium's last one to have a wide open berm like that.

We say we want kids to get more exercise and you just saw the most they’ll get all year.

They should build a moat between the hedge and the field.

Softer than Billy Naiper's skull.

Softer than Sam Pittman's padded toilet seat.

Softer than Norvell's ACC record.

ACC implemented an auto fine for storming the field this year. 50k fine for 1st offense, 100k for 2nd, 200k for 3 or more in a 2 year period. So UVA will be fined. FSU was fined 50k for storming against Bama.

Virginia rushed the field faster than any fan base I've seen in CFB...that's years and years of hopeless frustration being unleashed. .

Reminded me of the 80s....

Should be fined at least 350k. That was dangerous as hell. Imagine if someone fell and they trampled them to death.

Reading this thread has convinced me how soft we've become. That was great. What a great experience for those players, that team, those students, that school.

Relax. Or maybe we should put them all in bubble wrap.

This is the way things used to be. And we all survived.

Probably not so great for the ones that were still laying on the ground in the end zone getting stepped on.
