Anyone else notice the racer in front of Tony had to swerve not to hit Ward? Couldnt have missed him by more than a couple feet. He could have easily been the one to hit him

And Ward also moved out of that cars way a little too then came back down to confront TS.

Wow.

You think he tried to hit him?

You're essentially saying Stewart intended to run that dude over with his car.

He jumped out of the way of the first car and then proceeded to come back down the track more pointing his finger at TS.

It's not that hard to see in the video. Do you want it in slow motion so you can keep up?

Does anyone even know how fast they are going? Is there even even any traction on dirt tracks? How you clearly say he could easily have avoided him not knowing that? The video shows next to nothing. I wanna see the go pro camera.

I don't think he tried to hit him. I think he wanted to spin some dirt on him and teach him some kind of lesson.

it just backfired. ward was too close and tony misjudged it.

Why was TS so much farther up the track than the 6-10 cars that passed before him?

All quite possible. Can't convict a guy on that, though. (I don't think you were calling for jailtime, so not really directed at you.)

But he didn't. So explain why one of the best drivers in the world did? Explain why he was going that fast as he was going to pass him up?

People who were actual there said that Tony totally look like he tried to hit him. At the very least Tony was trying to spook him a bit. I think it's obvious his intent wasnt to kill him. That would be flat out dumb

Quite a few though I quit watching about 5-6 years ago.

"Quite a few" is subjective in how many you have actually watched.

But if you have watched NASCAR or the Nationwide series for any length of time, then seeing a driver get out of his wrecked race car pissed off, wait around for the car that is responsible to pass by, then walked towards it to show his anger or frustration toward that driver, then you really haven't watched NASCAR, because it happens pretty regularly.

You are the one that said:

quote:

When I see wrecks, unless the car is about to blow up, the drivers usually stay in their car and wait on things to be cleared and the crew to come help them out of the vehicle but that's just me I guess. Maybe I am watching the wrong races.

I take that to mean that you believe that this just doesnt happen, which is not true.

Same token, how can anyone say he tried to miss him? Can't have one without the other.

it's negligence. I don't think anyone objective can say he "tried" to kill ward. but it happened...

idk what will happen

There was intent by the deceased driver to exercise his redneck road rage on a race track, that much I can tell for sure. I can't tell much about Stewart's intent (or lack thereof) from that video. I expect it's hard to make last-second adjustments in a car going that fast. Not to mention, the last thing he'd expect to have to dodge on a race track is a human being.

DING DImG. It is painfully obvious Stewart was doing everything opposite of the other drivers. All the other drivers were low on the track and throttling down while ol Tony was high on the track and throttling up. I wonder why?
