Arguing? You still haven't answered the question.

What, that it's dangerous?

Absolutely. What's your point?

I'm sure, in 87 pages, it's already been discussed, but. . . The frick was that guy thinking, running onto a track in front of race cars?

Really, this can't be understated. I just watched the video again and all I can think is "this guy is an idiot."

Some won't like this, but this kid is responsible for his own death. This kind of outcome is always possible when you do something so stupid.

This thread is nothing but side arguments now though.

Stout, how many NASCAR races have you watched? Serious question.

Quite a few though I quit watching about 5-6 years ago.

I have even been to Texas Motor Speedway a few times on top of several local races. There is a dirt track not far from me actually though I never know what's going on with it because it has changed owners several times over the years. A good friend of mine used to race locally before getting married and moving away.

Defending Tony?

I'm going on what I see in the video and what CAN'T be proven about his actions and what CAN be proven about Ward's... If there is other video that proves he went after Ward, then it's a whole different discussion. But nothing concrete can be taken from that video other than Ward going after Tony in a moving vehicle.

Link to Ward jumping in front of a car?

You seriously don't see him have to jump out of the way of the car that passes right before Tony?

So you are all dumb, but I'm not going to explain why? Right?

You said it not me, but it's obvious you have no experience with a sprint car on a dirt track. It's also obvious you have your mind made up, so why should I waste my time?

You are correct that's nascar drivers have confrontations regularly but the difference in tracks, cars and safety personnel is night and day different from NASCAR high end racing to small town dirt tracks.

When someone doesn't know something, I teach them if I know. Your unwillingness to do so makes it seem like you don't know.

Anyone else notice the racer in front of Tony had to swerve not to hit Ward? Couldnt have missed him by more than a couple feet. He could have easily been the one to hit him

How is that any different then the caution being out?

You people defending Tony Stewart are fricking nuts. The dude is a world class champion driver. This would be like a sharpshooter shooting someone and people saying well the victim should have never been in the way of the bullet.

TS COULD HAVE EASILY EASILY EASILY frickING AVOIDED HITTING HIM. THAT IS INDISPUTABLE. Ward was wrong, no denying that but to even suggest TS didn't know what he was doing is literally retarded.

The guy in front of Stewart clearly saw him and slowed down to get out of the way. You can also see during the race that Stewart slightly jogged his wheel slightly to the right in the turn that caused his car to hit Ward's. ?

Seems like tony wanted to prank him and misjudged how close he really was to him.

both parties at fault IMO

How come the driver in front of Stewart easily drove around him - and everyone was throttled down - during the caution...

And yet Stewart comes around that turn throttles-up and hits the guy?

Two-three cars passed the deceased on the track easily avoiding him during the caution...but the one guy who is racing like it's not under caution and throttles up instead of down...hits him?

And there are people here who don't think there was intent?

Wow.
