I'm going to suspend Tony Stewart because he was involved in the death of another individual and I want to conduct an investigation to determine what occurred

Suspending him would imply that he did something wrong, and that hasn't been determined.

How many cars went past this guy and avoided him? I'm just putting my 2 cents in on what I saw. There will be more videos as time goes on and then we'll know the rest of the story. And what would you do if you just killed someone, accident or not, still race the next day. Seems a little insensitive to a fellow race driver.

So there was nothing that happened that made his car react like it did?

Before hitting the guy obviously

Highly doubtful his wife would have been running towards oncoming cars on a racetrack.

Because it's all we currently have. What do you want us to do? Speculate without the video and just hearsay from Twitter like people were doing last night?

Why did the guy keep getting closer as each car passed?

I wish I knew more about dirt racing, but I grew up with go karts and short tracks. Frankly, dirt racing is beneath me.

Tony needs to stick to NASCAR. Leave the dirt alone. Two years in a row it's screwed him

He didn't run towards any of the other cars. He went after TS. He got too close to an open wheeled vehicle and he got dead. That's it.

One really because when the first two passed he was still up by his car before making his way down the track. The guy even had to jump out of the way of that one care that did pass by him before TS because he was so close.

Stewart doesn't have a wife.

In that hypothetical, it would be a domestic abuse incident, not a workplace accident.

NASCAR doesn't have the authority to take action against Stewart in this scenario. You are comparing apples to oranges.

quote:

the same way Roger Goddell investigates off the field issues in the NFL is how NASCAR can investigate Stewart

Incorrect. This is an incident that occurred under the jurisdiction of another racing entity, not just an off-track incident. You're comparing apples to oranges once again.

Did he stand in front of any of those cars?

We have split second video evidence of the incident. Tony's wife found out she was cheated on, and came on to the track to confront him about it.
