Of course he does, we've acknowledged that. But that doesn't absolve Tony Stewart of his actions

I agree, I'm just saying, the kid is no innocent victim at all

The dude walked right out in front of Stewart.

It's his damn fault.

bullshite.

But it's not.

I have no dog in this fight. Looks like Tony was trying to scare the kid, and fricked-up really, really, really, really, really bad.

So the kid gets no responsibility for his actions?

What? He is dead because of them! He was a fricking retard but TS is a frick as well. Hopefully Fred is asleep but all I really get from all of this is racing is trashy.

No doubt. Even if he gets off on this he is and always will be a TPOS for pulling that.

TS press people are not breathing a sigh of relief watching that video. It doesn't necessarily prove anything. But it's probably not going to put him in line for any humanitarian awards any time soon.

To me, IMO it looks like Tony was just driving next to him and he tried to accelerate right next to him I guess to intimidate him. When he did his rear end slid and and his back tire caught the kid.

fricking sad that video.

Nascar sanctions and possible civil sanctions aside...there's no way he gets prosecuted criminally for this based on that video. Unless he confesses to intent, bc there's no way you can conclusively say he was trying hit the guy.

I think Stewart was trying to hit the gas and freak the kid out a little, but he ended up swerving and sucking him up under the car.

I don't know much about racing, but the guy pretty much walks right into it. Looks like TS tried to give him a little haha throttle and it turned bad. Very bad

Also, Ward got drug like 10 yards not thrown 50 yards or across the track.

Dude he did about 30 air to ground cartwheels in like .5 seconds.

TS will be charged, but damn that dude was stupid for getting out of his car and pointing at him on the track.

Another example
look pick up law book that talks about the extent of waivers.

Just so you know, just BC you signed an agreement with someone doesnt mean the law views it as reasonable

beebefootballfan, what's your take? Stewart tried to scare or hurt him intentionally or accident? I can't tell if the swerve happened before impact or if Ward getting caught by the wheel caused the swerve.

Prayers to Ward and his family.

But his actions got him killed. If he didn't get out of the car, if he didn't walk into the track, if he didn't purposefully walk into the path of TS as shown in the video, he wouldn't have gotten hit. You can see he moves into the path as the blue car comes by, the blue car hurries up and swerves, then TS moves to the left and accelerates. If I had someone trying to flag me down like that I'd accelerate to GTFO of the area too. TS didn't swerve into him, he swerved into TS.

He may or may not have been trying to scare him, but he needs to face some consequences.
