When you sign in to race you sign a giant waiver. Hence why even when people get injured in crashes no charges can be pressed. It'd be really hard for a prosecutor to make a case against him
this is outside the normal scope of the race, and waivers are never an end all

Yahoo article
In the yahoo article it has the kid being 20 years old. Not that it matters what his age is.

I don't know yet. I don't think I can even begin to form an opinion without more info.
Tony is a very good driver, I have a very difficult time believing he would do something that could cause the car to act in a way he does not expect.
On the other hand, the idea he intentionally killed someone on an active race track is almost ludicrous. Probably more at play here than we know at the moment.

The point is that Tony Stewart should know that sprint cars aren't easy to control so trying to intimidate someone is fricking retared
Meanwhile ESPN is still reporting their top story of the night: Johnny Manziel's 3 drives in a preseason football game

Yea your pit pass wavier doesn't clear you from from having charges filed against you, it clears the track of any liability should you die or get injured during the course of a race night.

but he hits the accelerator to intimidate him. He happened to do it while he was turning away causing the car to hit the kid. Tony is guilty of fricking up and shouldn't have accelerated... but he didn't hit the kid on purpose.

the court of public opinion has no time for facts to come out
someone did something and they have the opportunity to shite on that someone. time to run with it

I disagree. All they will have to do is show fault of any kind.
BEST case senario. TS never races again.

No, I'd have to think he is liable if he hits someone outside of his car. He isn't in trouble for wrecking the guys car, he is in trouble for running a guy over.
