As far as evidence, I'd love to see an engineer or pro driver disect this film

Not to mention, I'm sure there is other video, so all of that would have to be looked at as well.
He likely won't get charged, but you know EVERY other driver knows what happened. Also, I imagine that he loses a few sponsors over this. They might not pull the plug immediately, but I bet a few don't re-up when the contract runs out.

Yup. Further solidifies my argument that these professionals should leave these Podunk races to the amateurs. There's no winning out of this.
Not to mention he probably won't see criminal charges but will get sued out the arse by the deceased family.

But but but he was in traffic ( one car 30 ft ahead of him) and couldn't see him (going about 35-40 if I had to guess).
Those drivers must be completely blind when at full speed and dust is flying.

Right. Not sure if I buy the dust blinding theory either. From the video it doesn't look nearly as dusty as I would expect one of those races to be.
