I would probably grab her and push her away (not too roughly, mind you), and if I got in trouble for that, so be it, because again, better than clocking her.

Yeah I don't think him grabbing her was a problem. Although I wouldn't have done it. The girl was mad that a big dude was grabbing the bar sort of around her back and shoving her into it while trying to pull himself into the spot beside her. She turns her head back and says something. Could have been "EXCUSE ME SIR!" Could have been "bitch get the frick off me." We don't know. He continues and gets in the spot. She turns around, with that stupid arse fist in the air shite that stupid girls do. He grabs her, which is fine, whatever.
At that point, shite has done hit the fan. You have a pissed of drunk girl that you don't know and you're holding her arms in place Like an idiot, she punches him. It obviously pissed him of and he wrecked her. They're both morons for letting it get to that. If I were the coach, I wouldn't want him on my football team.
. When she put her fist in the air at me I would have grabbed her hands and said something like "Woh woh woh. Im sorry. Let me buy us a round and we can forget about this"
Boom. Problem solved. I dont just have to stand there and get punched and I dont have to be a fricking moron that hits a woman

He has no intention of hitting her. He then lets her hands go and she punches him in the face, and he reacts and slaps her and leaves. I don't think anyone is defending him hitting her. Bottom line, I was expecting to see something 10x worse than that. Definitely don't think he should be kicked off the team, but he should definitely be suspended for the year
