So the field condition is gonna be the excuse if he gets bundled up?

And what if he plays great? Will you shut up?

I’ll shut up if he wins a Super Bowl and makes it through his rookie contract. Has never happened with a scrambling QB and never will.

So, wait. He has to win a Super Bowl otherwise he's not good? That's insane.

Translation: "My last statement that Lamar was being shutdown by the one good team he has played (which is false, btw) was wrong, so now I'm going to say he is bad until he wins a Super Bowl."

I guess Dan Marino was not good either.

Both teams need to keep running the ball. I don't think either team can stop each other on the ground and these weather conditions are not conducive to throwing the football.

Okay that’s fair. He needs postseason success though. He got bottled up last year after SD played him a second time.

The NFL always adjust to these guys and so I’m going off of data that says he will get stopped.

It happened with Mike Vick, it happened with RG3 and it happened with Kaep. History shows the defenses stop these types of players.

If he is a successful QB for 5-10 years than I’ll have no problem admitting I’m wrong.

Fox is doing some shite where they project the lines and yardage markers on the screen but it's showing over the players. It's fricking annoying.

When I was a lad, we couldn't tell where the ball was on the field in the snow. And we LIKED IT!

So we went from (1) he needed to have success against good teams to be considered good to (2) he needs to win a Super Bowl to be good to (3) he needs to have success for 5-10 years to be good.

You changed the standard in the span of two pages of a thread.

Auden Tate, one of the few bright spots on this Bengals team.

Dalton is now the Bengals all time leader in TD passes after that one to Boyd.

Having success against good teams would be a given in a 5-10 year NFL career for a starting franchise QB. You just can’t comprehend what I’m saying I guess.
