No real response. Low IQ. LSU fan probably. Product of the poorest education system in America. Makes sense.
I’m smart enough to double check stats before spouting off nonsensical horseshite to try and make a point.
Keep up the good work though bud.

"We played 2 great teams." No, you played the 2 worst teams in the playoff that had no business being in there and would be 6-6 in the SEC.

I’ll let you figure it out since you’re a Notre Dame grad and all that cool stuff. Should be easy for you.

The SEC was terrible this year.

I still think Boise and SMU would have posted mediocre to bad records in the SEC or B1G.
Penn State got rewarded with two mid majors because they lost their conference title game. This system is atrocious, and people defending it are just getting distracted by arguments about who should have gotten in when the actual problem is too many teams getting in and seeding.

The SEC was terrible this year - probably its worst year since sometime in the 1990’s. Overall, SEC fans and media completely embarrassed themselves this year crowing about wins, but ignoring horrific losses when making arguments for 3 loss mediocre teams (Bama, USCe, Ole Miss) to be in the playoffs. With the 12 team playoff, these are the new rules, no more EYE TEST:
1. Take care of business (just win baby) against the teams you should beat (Indiana, Penn State). Bad losses hurt more than the boost from good wins. SEC fans struggle understanding this
2. Make your conference championship game. Penn State benefited from this. OSU was punished for their bad losses to a middling Michigan with their seeding. Penn State gutted out tough wins against middling USC and Minnesota, made the conference championship game, and were rewarded with a favorable bracket.
3. Luck of the draw. Jan 2, 2024, Indiana would have the hardest conference schedule in the country with OSU, Michigan, and Washington. A month later, UM and Washington have new coaches and are in rebuilding mode and now they don’t face 3 automatic losses. With these mega conferences, schedules are going to be unbalanced.

I know it's been said a million times, but Corso is painful to watch.

It was mediocre…much like most of CFB. I wouldn’t say any of the teams still playing are elite and wouldn’t be shocked at any of them winning aside from Arizona State
I doubt this year’s champ has much of a legacy outside of being the first expanded playoff winner

Saban just basically said Bama didn't want to be there yesterday.

The gump pope has spoken.

Judging by some of those bama games this year DeBoer clearly has problems with his teams getting up for non marquee games
I see him gone within a few years and Bama bringing in a Saban disciple to try and bring back the magic

So basically, they were entitled babies living on past glory and couldn’t get up for the team that knocked them out the previous year? Really?

I hope these games are good. The MSB deserves a decent CFP game.

Does Arizona State have any chance to keep this competitive?
Posted on 1/1/25 at 11:10 am to jamal
Not a chance in hell. Maybe the most lopsided game of all.

Texas D probably gives them hell so it’ll depend on which version of Ewers shows up today.
